Enabling Google AdSense Auto Ads in Genesis theme is straightforward. This is a foolproof guide for beginners to activate Google AdSense in Genesis theme with a little effort.

Activate Google AdSense Auto Ads in Genesis theme

After submitting your site for Google AdSense approval a script will be available be given for your AdSense account. The script will contain a
Publisher ID. To activate the Google AdSense Auto Ads in Genesis Theme first setup auto ads in your AdSense account.

Just place AdSense account Publisher ID in Genesis Theme. Google AdSense will identify the best places and will place the ads automatically in your website. The publisher id will be in the following format,

Format – ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

To enter your AdSense publisher ID go to the WordPress dashboard and navigate to the following path

Apperance -> Customize -> Theme Settings -> Google AdSense -> Publisher ID

Enter the publisher ID here to activate AdSense Auto Ads. This is seemingly effortless way to activate auto ads in Genesis Theme.

Avoid the following mistake. Do not place the AdSense script in Header section because you have already activated the AdSense in your blog by entering the publisher ID in theme settings. Adding the script again in header section is like adding multiple page-level ad codes in your website.
You need only one page level ads per page. If you place the script in header section you will see the following error in browser console,

message: “adsbygoogle.push() error: Only one ‘enable_page_level_ads’ allowed per page.”, name: “TagError”, stack: “TagError: adsbygoogle.push() error: Only one ‘enable_page_level_ads’ allowed per page.
