Set proxy windows environment variables to http://localhost:3128
HTTP_PROXY=http://localhost:3128
HTTPS_PROXY=http://localhost:3128
NO_PROXY=localhost,127.0.0.1,.company.*
In Windows Sign out or Restart the computer.
After restart, test the environment variables using the echo command,
echo %HTTP_PROXY%
echo %HTTPS_PROXY%
echo %NO_PROXY%
If the echo command prints the environment variable values it means that the environment variables are set properly in windows.
px --install command adds px to windows autostart. If px not starts on windows startup, run the px application executable file from the installed folder.
To start px navigate to the installed folder and call C:\px-v0.8.3-windows\px.exe from the command line.
Now px is up and running from the command line.
This px proxy server name localhost and port of the proxy server 3128 have to be referred in the configuration files by replacing the company proxy in configuration files/settings.
